The International Missions Association (IMA) is an association of Anabaptist mission bodies established for prayer, mutual support and partnering in carrying out the Great Commission. It was begun in 1997 by four members (PIPKA of Indonesia, MKC of Ethiopia, Amor Viviente of Honduras and EMM of the USA) and currently membership has grown to 21.

IMA to gather from October 4 – 13, 2011, in Indonesia
The 2011 IMA gathering will be in North Sumatra, Indonesia, from October 4 to 13. The events, venues and dates are as follows:

Our hosts are also thinking about a possible tour of Java immediately after the IMA Annual Meeting for those who have not been there before.

Program
Theme: “By faith . . .” Hebrews 11
Holy Spirit in Mission Conference – will include vibrant worship, prayer and fasting, sermons, testimonies, workshops, a youth rally and lots of networking of mission and church leaders from around the world. The full schedule will be made available as soon as it is ready.
Ministry trips – will be a time to connect with the local churches and communities to minister and be ministered to in various ways. Our past experience has shown that it is a very rich time of connecting with local believers.
IMA Annual Meeting – This is a business meeting for the members of the Association but others could also join the non-executive sessions as prospective members and observers.
