Youth Evangelism Service (YES)
YES provides opportunities for young adults (ages 18-30) to grow spiritually through an intensive, hands-on learning experience. YES teams of four to six people receive eight to ten weeks of training at a discipleship center in the inner city before serving for four or eight months with a congregation, a ministry, or missionaries. YES assignments conclude with a couple weeks of post-field training. Participants are challenged to go deeper in their relationships with Christ and with others.

GO!
GO! assignments enable individuals, young adults, adults, congregations, and others to train and serve in short-term cross-cultural missions. Assignments last from two weeks up to one year and range from congregational ministry and service teams, to pioneer exploratory teams, to individual "test the call" assignments. Other possible teams include prayer teams, "encourage the worker" teams, and rapid-response teams to meet urgent needs. EMM sends up to five GO! teams per year.

EMM designs and fully coordinates these assignments for those age 18 or older who want to join with other adults in cross-cultural ministry, or who desire individual assignments. Training is required for all assignments: two days of training for trips of three weeks or less; more for the longer teams. Debriefing occurs upon return.

Mission Internships
Mission internships are one year assignments serving alongside a long-term missionary for those who are exploring and clarifying their call to missions. Mission Internships are designed for those with discipleship and cross-cultural ministry experience – preferably in a team context.

Central and Eastern Europe internship cohort
We are planning for a cohort of mission interns that will be serving in Central and Eastern Europe. Each intern will have the opportunity to serve alongside EMM workers and local believers. Interns will have interactions around common learning experiences and the opportunity to take a ministry field trip to the other locations throughout the year.

Each intern will have their own assignment in one of the following locations: Albania, Bulgaria, the Balkans, and Eastern Germany.

This region has been marked by the impact of communist governments that were dismantled within the past several decades. There are significant Muslim populations in each of these areas. These common threads will provide similar, yet distinct, experiences as you interact both with experienced workers and with other interns.

Mission resourcing
Mission resourcing is designed for congregational teams, families, or any other group that wishes to coordinate their own short-term cross-cultural mission trip, but want help walking through the process of preparing for and conducting such a venture.

A trained Resourcing Coach can provide assistance in preparing, coordinating, leading, and debriefing a team. The coach facilitates a “Short-term mission training weekend retreat,” which is central to preparing teams for their mission assignments. For more information including pricing, contact Ryan Showalter at 717 898-2251.

The most natural connection for your group is with missionaries already supported by your church group or family. If you do not have suitable connections, we also have some recommendations:
