Islam has become the dominant religion throughout the Middle East which is filled with Turkic, Persian, Arab, Jewish, and Berber peoples. The Iraq war and the unresolved Israeli-Palestinian conflicts continue to destabilize the region. Islamic fundamentalists clash with secularists and Sunni-Shiite tensions flare. Ancient Syrian, Armenian, Maronite, Coptic, and other traditional Christian groups are part of the mix along with evangelicals. Winsome, peace-loving followers of Jesus are needed to work for peace and reconciliation among all peoples while sharing in the regions’ rich tradition of hospitality.

More “tentmakers” are needed – students, teachers, business persons, etc. throughout the region to help strengthen existing teams, and to branch out in new pioneer ministries.

EMM partners with:
local evangelical and Messianic churches.

EMM has significant ministry connections with:
a physical therapy center, a clinic, university students, and a bookstore.
