Asia is home to half of the world’s population as well as the home of Muslim, Hindu, Chinese, and Buddhist mega religious spheres. There are also pockets of nominal Christianity, animistic tribal religions, and post modern beliefs. China and India, with more than one billion people each, dwarf the rest of the world in sheer size. Eighty percent or more of the world’s people who have not … yet had opportunity to know Jesus live in this region. Asia holds great economic might in massive urban centers yet many of its people are living in dire poverty. Economic, religious, and ethnic tensions complicate the dynamics in this region.
